- Education: Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University (summa cum laude); Masters of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

- Developed complex integrated DoD/DHS strategies to significantly reduce the timeline for recovering an urban area from a biological attack (IBRD Program)
- Partnered with Republic of Poland to field integrated capabilities that protect U.S. and Poland from biological attacks (TaCBRD Program)
- Developed an integrated early warning capability to originate the DoD Chemical and Biological Defense Program’s Integrated Early Warning Campaign (IEW ATD Program)
- Developed the capability used by the U.S. and U.N. to destroy Syria’s chemical weapons stockpile (FDHS Program)
- Partnered with Australia to develop a joint biological surveillance toolset used to help understand the COVID-19 outbreak as it unfolded (BSV Apps CWP Project)
- Managed DHS’ BD21 Level 1 (>$1B) major acquisition program and developed the subsequent Biodetection Adaptive Capability Approach to effectively buy down biological threat risk
- Managed DHS’ RPM RP Level 2 (>$300M) major acquisition program, including the transition of acquisition strategy from FFRDC to industry and formal Level 2 re-baselining
- Stood up DHS’ Radiation Portal Monitor Enterprise to integrate across associated Level 2 and Level 3 programs and provide more effective support to customer missions
